I believe that counselling is a personal space for you to use in whatever way you want. It can be an opportunity to reflect, explore and refocus.
My approach to counselling is called Integrative. I base my integrative views on theories that have made sense to me, in my life and in my client work. The theories I most work with are Jungian, Gestalt and Person Centred.
I can also incorporate aspects of Brief Solution Focused Therapy which can be very helpful for clients wanting short-term time-limited work, and CBT (Cognitive Behahavioral Therepy) useful in setting goals in therapy.
